São Paulo, April 4th, 2014 – NETmundial – Global Multistakeholder Meeting on the Future of Internet Governance which will be held in São Paulo on 23rd and 24th April – informs the remote hubs of participation that will allow real time interaction with the event in Sao Paulo. In a total of 33 spots, in 30 cities of 23 countries are confirmed.
The hubs will be set up in auditoriums of institutions and companies, in order to enable interested public to meet in groups to attend discussions NETmundial, plus the ability to interact and provide feedback during sessions.
Information regarding registration and how to participate will be announced shortly. In addition to participating into these hubs, everyone can follow the meeting live on the Internet.

About NETmundial
In the same year that the World Wide Web completes 25 years, Brazil serves as host for NETmundial – Global Multistakeholder Meeting on the Future of Internet Governance. The meeting is organized in a partnership between the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee (CGI.br) and /1Net, a forum that gathers international entities of the various stakeholders involved with Internet governance. This meeting will focus on the elaboration of principles of Internet governance and the proposal for a roadmap for future development of this ecosystem.
During this phase of content capture to feed discussions, the meeting has received 188 contributions, from 46 different countries. The proposal is to embrace all stakeholders requests in the new model of Internet governance that should have its development started in the meeting.
